Non-members are very welcome to attend up to 3 walks before being required to join the Ramblers' Association.  No need to book - for walks other than those going by coach, just turn up at South Parade Car Park or, if it is a Thursday walk, Wyndley Leisure Centre Car Park at least 10 minutes before the departure time.  The journey to the start point is made by car and, as it is normal to share a car, you don't need to have your own transport.

Bring food and drink for the whole day, waterproof clothing and stout walking boots.  Also, a change of shoes for the return journey and a carrier bag for those muddy boots.
